If you want to have a glimpse of the Yekwuana Makiritare traditions visit their Indian village in the Caura River region. You can join the production of “casabe”, the Indian bread made of tapioca, or see their basket weaving techniques. You will go to Cerro Cangrejo to hike for 2 hours and enjoy from there the panoramic view of the jungle and the river. You will navigate the Caño Manamo, affluent of the Caura River, where you can appreciate the overwhelming biodiversity of the area and will see alligators basking on the flood of the Caura. Great and easy tour.

Day 1: Caura River - Ciudad Bolivar
