Trip Highlights
Visit the region of the “man with boat”, the Waraos, Indian group that inhabit the Orinoco Delta in Venezuela. They are hardworking and quiet people that cut delta waters with their “curiaras” (canoes). You will have a great opportunity to get a glimpse of the flora and fauna of the Delta traveling to the remote Guenamorena region. There you will visit the Waraos and learn interesting facts about their way of life and survival techniques. With your Indian guide you will walk through the jungle canopy and observe parrots, toucans, hoatzin birds, piranhas, caimans, water dolphins and much more!
