Trip Highlights

Humpback whales in sight! Between the months of July and October, one of Colombia's most beautiful and great natural spectacles takes place in El Choco, Colombia's Pacific region. In this tour, see hundreds of humpback whales  (ballenas jorobadas) arrive in the Colombian Pacific fleeing the winter of the South Pole. The humpback whales travel approximately 8,500 km until they arrive in tropical waters of Colombia where females give birth, feed, and teach their young one's to breathe, while the males take advantage of an unsurpassable environment to court the females and continue breading the process. For a, nyone with an interest in wildlife, this is a must-do trip.
