Today, take a sightseeing tour of Bogotá. Learn about the city's social organization, the customs of our region important and interesting political stories and much more! Places to visit include: Day 3: BogotaAfter breakfast see one of South America’s wonders, the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral, and see the beautiful Lake Guatavita (Laguna de Guatavita). Explore the magnificent salt mine of Zipaquirá and see the famous cathedral up close. After, visit Lagun more... Day 4: Bogota - Santa Marta & Tayrona National ParkFly to Santa Marta. Upon arrival take a taxi to your hotel. Overnight at a hotel. Day 5: Santa Marta & Tayrona National ParkAt 9:00 AM we depart Santa Marta and drive approximately 2:30 minutes to Maney where we will stop to have lunch. After lunch, walk for about 3 hours to our first top, Cabana de Adam or Cabana de Alfredo where you will have the opportunity to view of more... Day 6: Santa Marta & Tayrona National ParkBreakfast will be served at 7:00 AM. At 8:00 AM, depart Cabana de Adam or Cabana de Alfredo, and trek for about 4:00 hours to Cabana de Turcol where we will stop for lunch. After lunch, continue to the indian town Mutanyi where you will have a chanc more... Day 7: Santa Marta & Tayrona National ParkBreakfast will be served at 6:00 AM. We depart Cabana de Turcol at 7:00 AM and trek 5 hours to Cabana de Romualdo, home of the Mamo (native priest). After lunch, swim in the calm waters of the Buritaca river. Dinner will be served at 06:00 PM. Overni more... Day 8: Santa Marta & Tayrona National ParkAt 7:00 AM we leave Cabana de Romualdo and head to the Lost City (approx. 1 hour away). The guide will accompany you in an instructive and photographic tour of the archaeological site for approximately 3 hours.Return to Cabana de Romualdo at noon for more... Day 9: Santa Marta & Tayrona National ParkDepart at 7:00 AM. Today we head back to Cabana de Adam or Cabana de Alfredo. Lunch will be served at 12:30 PM and spend a relaxing afternoon, swimming in the natural pool. Dinner will be served at 06:00 PM. Overnight in beds or hammocks with mosquit more... Day 10: Cartagena - Santa Marta & Tayrona National ParkAfter breakfast, transfer to Cartagena (approx. 4 hour drive), a favorite among nightlife seekers, history buffs and everyone in between. Take a private tour of Cartagena de Indias and learn about the years of European conquest that led to centuries-old fortresses, churches and squares and a famous wall surrounding the old city.
