This hiking tour will allow you to climb to the most defiant mountain peaks of Venezuela. In this tour travel through the Andes, see a unique ecosystem with its tall frailejones as well as windy and mysterious deserts and glacial lakes. The tour starts at La Mucuy in the Sierra Nevada National Park. Travel through the Coromoto Lake, Laguna Verde and arrive to Laguna Limoncito, at the base of Pico Bolívar. Hike the Pico Espejo and return by Los Calderones and Mucunutan to Mérida City. This is a strenuous tour, demanding but very rewarding.

Day 8: Mérida

After breakfast, we continue descending from Los Calderones to Mucunutan and from there to Merida. (3452 m - 1600 m, 4 hrs trekking). Overnight at a hotel in Merida.

Day 9: Merida & the Andes - Caracas

In the afternoon we will pick you up and transfer you to the airport. Fly to Caracas. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our travel assistant and transferred to a hotel. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 10: Caracas

Transfer to the airport to take your flight home and/or next destination. END OF SERVICES.
