In this trip, see the most spectacular corals, fishes, caves and wrecks our country has to offer.
National parks on the coast are famous for their wildlife and their jewel-like inlets and distant islets surrounded by beds of breathtaking corals, home to all variety of colorful tropical fish.
Whether you are fully certified or a complete beginner, our experienced team will show you the sights safely and knowledgeably.
Day 1:Caracas - Morrocoy National Park
Meet your guide at the airport and drive to Morrocoy National Park. We invite you to stay at Posada Morokkue while enjoying your stay at the Morrocoy National Park. The posada (guest house) offers different options for day tours and excursions, such as: Cuao Wildlife reserve, Chichiriviche, ecotourism day tours and full services with boat, snacks and cold drinks. Upon arrival, check in Posada Morokkue and enjoy of what is left of the day. Sleep in comfortable rooms, with mosquito nets and a private bathroom. ( - / - / D ).
Day 2. Morrocoy National Park
After breakfast, take an excursion to one of the keys and dive in cayo sur, medio or norte. If you feel like taking an open water, advance, stress and rescue and/or nitrox diving class that can also be arranged. Overnight at Posada Morokkue. ( B / L / D ).
Day 3. Morrocoy National Park
Spend another day diving in one of the keys of your liking. Overnight at Posada Morokkue. ( B / L / D ).
Day 4. Morrocoy – Los Roques
Early in the morning, after breakfast, check out of Posada Morokkue and head back to Caracas to catch a flight to Los Roques, a beautiful national park and the largest marine reserve in the Caribbean. Corals teeming with tropical fish, white sand beaches on islets in turquoise seas, Los Roques is one of Venezuela’s top dive sites.
At the main island, there will be a travel assistant waiting for you. He/she will take you to your posada. Rest, clean up and maybe enjoy a short walk around the picturesque town. At around 8:00 P.M. (or when you start to feel hungry), go back to the posada for dinner. Overnight at Posada Cayo Luna. ( B / L / D ).
Days 5 & 6. Los Roques National Park
Spend the days diving at any of the following locations:
La Guaza: a rocky formation, located very close, just 5 minutes by boat, There are 3 pinnacles, with depths of 103 feet. There is wonderful visibility for all kinds of pelagic, like barracudas, groupers, snappers, turtles, eels, and much more. It is one of the most famous spots in Los Roques.
La Piedra Ahogada: a place very similar to La Guaza. We can do deep and night diving here. We can often see jacks, barracudas, eels, and great variety of reef fish and rays. From this dive we can reach the cave of La Buceadora.
La Buceadora: with similar features, but on the other side of El Gran Roque, here we can reach the tarpons arch (Arco de los sábalos) , and their caves. There is a very interesting cavern with 2 domes where we can do very interesting penetrations, also on this dive we can visit a small three year old sailboat wreck at about 90 feet.
Madrisqui and Francisqui: 2 amazing reefs close to El Gran Roque, just 7 min. by boat. These are a wonderful gardens of coral and sponges, with a great variety of reef fauna. The maximum depth is 60 feet. This dive is perfect for beginners.
Solapa de Rabusqui: after a 15 minute boat ride s/w form El Roque we find La Solapa de Rabusqui.This is a special reef formation like lapping, with an amazing visibility, where we often see, tarpons, turtles an sharks.
Barrera Arrecifal Sur: a primitive and protected area of the south barrel reef, where we have at least 50 different sites, from Boca de Cote to Cayo sal, with wall up to 1.500 meters.We can fine caves, and the most beautiful coral formations, considered one of the best reefs in the Carebean . It´s common to find sharks, turtles, and big schools of jacks, snappers and much more. To reach this place we have to ride at least 40 minutes by boat.
Overnight at Posada Cayo Luna. ( B / L / D ).
Day 7. Los Roques National Park – Caracas
Return to Caracas for your flight home. ( B / - / - ).

Important Information:
Participants should be qualified divers with a recognised professional body such as PADI, BSAC, NAUI. etc. A certificate or C-card will need to be presented to dive operators on location.
Any dive packages booked through Turpial Travel, including specific diving courses, cannot be changed upon arrival at your destination.
There is no refund for any unused dives.
Equipment included are the hire of tanks, air fills and weight belts unless otherwise stated. The hire of further dive equipment will be at an additional charge.
It is the individuals responsibility to be medical fit to scuba dive in the conditions presented.
We recommend that a refresher is taken in a pool if you have not been diving in the last 6 months. We reserve the right to charge for a refresher should there be uncertainty regarding your ability and its impact upon safety and the underwater environment.
All regulations stipulated by the recognised diving authority (e.g PADI, BSAC, etc) and as part of your insurance, must be strictly adhered to.
Turpial Travel dos not schedule dives for the day prior to destination departure.
Diving programmes are subject to constraints of weather and other conditions. Dive itineraries, particularly in relation to liveaboards need to be flexible to adapt to changes in diving sites or suspension of diving, for which no refund can be given.
NOTES:
Trip extensions can be arrange for any of our tours at an additional cost.
Allow for USD 20 per day for meals not included and/or additional personal expenses.
How to Book?
I.I. BOOK ONLINE: Start by filling out YOUR TRIP COST section. Each itinerary has a trip price range. This section will allow you to quote an exact price by filling out Questions 1-4. The price will be determined by: the dates you choose to travel, the number of people traveling with you, and the type of service you require throughout your trip. After filling out Questions 1-4, you will choose between two options:
Option A - Book Now: If you agree with the price and you DO NOT need to make any changes to the itinerary and/or the departure dates, you will press the BOOK NOW button which will take you through a series of steps:
* Step 1: Enter your Details & Flight Information – Here you will have to fill out the passenger details, contact information and international flight information. If you still haven’t booked your international flight, no worries, the system will allow you to request a quote through us.
* Step 2: Pre/Post Hotels & Transfers in Caracas - Need extra nights in Caracas before or after your trip? If you do, you will need to fill out this section. If you don’t you will skip this section and proceed to Step 3.
* Step 3: Make a donation? – Turpial Travel is a member of several organizations that protect the environment, study endangered species and promote sustainable tourism. We work in partnership with Fundación AndígenA to forge a direct link between the economic benefits from tourism and the biodiversity protection. This section will allow you to make a donation to this caused if interested.
* Step 4: Is Everything Correct? Review your Booking Information – This section will confirm key information needed to proceed with your booking.
* Step 5: Payment Information – Last step! Here you proceed to pay and book your trip. Payment is processed through credit card only.
When filling out sections 1-5 you will received two emails from us. The first email will let you know that a personal account has been created for you. The account will allow you to interact with your assigned travel agent, update your profile, review trip details, and upload/download important pre-departure information. The email will also tell you the name of the Travel Assistant that has been assigned to you. The second email will confirm your payment once it has been processed.
We recommend using Option A since it was designed to save our clients time and money!
Option B - Personalize my Trip: If you need to adapt the itinerary to your specific needs (e.g. make changes to the itinerary and/or the pre-departure dates), you will fill out Questions 1-4 in “Your Trip Cost” section and press the PERSONALIZE MY TRIP button. Next, you will proceed to fill out some basic information needed to process your request. Once you submit this information, you will receive an email letting you know that your enquiry has been sent to the Department of Sales & Reservations and a Travel Assistant will contact you shortly.

Upon receipt of your booking form, we will proceed to call you and confirm your information. If all is correct, you can purchase the tour by credit card or bank transfer. On receipt of the payment, we will send you all necessary pre-departure information pertaining to your trip. In the pre-departure information you will receive all the details necessary for you to prepare for your holiday.
