Day 2: Catia La Mar - Caracas
Spend the day seeing Caracas. The tour includes lunch. In this tour visit places such as:
* Catedral Metropolitana de Caracas: Over 300 pounds of gold leaf were used to gild the main altar at this late 17th-century cathedral, which also houses the private Bolivar family chapel.
* Simon Bolivarʼs Birthplace
* Panteon Nacional: The remains of celebrated Venezuelans, including Simon Bolivar, are housed inside this building, whose walls and ceilings display the most famous Venezuelan independence battle scenes.
* Plaza Bolivar: Four statues of women, one at each corner of this plaza named for Simon Bolivar, represent the four original republics of Gran Colombia: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
* El Capitolio Nacional: Two neoclassical style buildings, the Legislative Palace and the Federal Palace, house Venezuela's National Congress, now called the National Assembly.
* Plaza de Altamira: Impressive fountains grace the entrance to the Altamira subway station, which is located in this popular square of Caracas.
* Paseo de Los Proceres: Popular with roller bladers, bikers, joggers and people watchers, this complex of monuments to Venezuelaʼs national heroes includes a lengthy avenue lined with lush trees, gardens and artwork integrated into the landscape.

Day 3: Canaima National Park & Angel Falls Catia La Mar Maiquetia Puerto Ordaz/Ciudad Guayana
Early in the morning, take a flight from Caracas to Puerto Ordaz and then to Canaima National Park. Upon arrival you will be transferred to our main camp. At 2:00 p.m. leave the camp and head to the “Ucaima” port situated above the “Canaima Lagoon Falls. Board a “curiara” (Indian canoe) and travel through the Canaima Lagoon. When you arrive at “Sapo Fall” - a magnificent water fall of approximately 45 meters in height and 100 meters in width - prepare yourself to cross it by foot! At the other side of the fall, a jeep will be waiting for you to take you through the “Mayupa Sabana”. Observe the “Mayupa Rapids” and part of the magnificent “Auyan Tepuy”. After crossing the Sabana by jeep, board the curiara once more and travel through the “Carrao” river to the “Happy Well”. During the voyage, observe the lush tropical vegetation, Palmas de Moriche (a tropical palms) and Tepuyes. At the Happy Well, the group will stop to take a refreshing bath before continuing the journey to the “Ahonda Camp” in front of the “Orchid Island” (a shelter of red stones) where we will have dinner with a view of the “Auyan Tepuy”. Spend the night sleeping in hammocks with mosquito nettings and blankets.
Day 4: Canaima National Park & Angel Falls
After breakfast, board the curiara and travel up river to “Isla Raton”. At Isla Raton, trek an hour to the base of the magnificent Angel Fall. Enjoy the splendid view of the fall and if time permits, swim in the Angel Fall lagoon. Return to the “Orchid Island” for lunch and after that head back to the main camp (arriving there at 6:00 p.m. approximately). Overnight at a camp.
Day 5: Canaima National Park & Angel Falls Orinoco Delta
After breakfast, retune to Canaima and fly to Puerto Ordaz. From Puerto Ordaz you will be transferred to our camp in the Orinoco Delta region. During the trip you will have the opportunity to appreciate the fauna and flora of the Delta and some Indian communities. When you arrive at the camp you will be welcomed with a cocktail as you check-in to your rooms. In the afternoon, after lunch, board a canoe that will take you through the narrow and beautiful Delta River canals. Observe the flora and fauna and maybe some canoes competitions. Do a bit of piranhas fishing. On the way back to the camp, enjoy a spectacular sunset. If you are not too tired, latter that evening, take some time to enjoy the Warao craft exhibit. Overnight at the camp.
Day 6: Orinoco Delta
Navigate the Delta canals at dawn. At this time of the day, the animals are very active and it is easier to see them. Return to the camp for a quick breakfast. After breakfast, return to the rainforest to start a jungle walk accompanied by Indian expert guides. Your guides will show you how the local Indians get their food, beverages, medicines, make their handicrafts and build their homes from the plants and animals of the area. In the afternoon (if it is not the nesting season) visit the “Island of The Birds” where you can observe a large number of bird species seeking refuge for the night. Overnight at the camp.
Day 7: Orinoco Delta Maturín Isla Margarita
Today you will visit the Warao Indian communities and have direct contact with them. You will get a chance to interact with them and learn more about their way of living . From there, you will be transferred to the Maturín airport to Margarita Island. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a hotel. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 8:
After breakfast take a boat trip to fish the fierce infamous piranhas. If you catch any we can fry them for a snack. After lunch, you will be transferred to Tucupita airport to take a in a private Charter to Margarita Island where you can gulf, take a jeef safari to the Macanao Peninsula and Copey national park or an full day excursion to Coche and Yemaya Island. Overnight at the Hilton Margarita Hotel. ( B / L / - )

How to Book?
I.I. BOOK ONLINE: Start by filling out YOUR TRIP COST section. Each itinerary has a trip price range. This section will allow you to quote an exact price by filling out Questions 1-4. The price will be determined by: the dates you choose to travel, the number of people traveling with you, and the type of service you require throughout your trip. After filling out Questions 1-4, you will choose between two options:
Option A - Book Now: If you agree with the price and you DO NOT need to make any changes to the itinerary and/or the departure dates, you will press the BOOK NOW button which will take you through a series of steps:
* Step 1: Enter your Details & Flight Information – Here you will have to fill out the passenger details, contact information and international flight information. If you still haven’t booked your international flight, no worries, the system will allow you to request a quote through us.
* Step 2: Pre/Post Hotels & Transfers in Caracas - Need extra nights in Caracas before or after your trip? If you do, you will need to fill out this section. If you don’t you will skip this section and proceed to Step 3.
* Step 3: Make a donation? – Turpial Travel is a member of several organizations that protect the environment, study endangered species and promote sustainable tourism. We work in partnership with Fundación AndígenA to forge a direct link between the economic benefits from tourism and the biodiversity protection. This section will allow you to make a donation to this caused if interested.

* Step 5: Payment Information – Last step! Here you proceed to pay and book your trip. Payment is processed through credit card only.
When filling out sections 1-5 you will received two emails from us. The first email will let you know that a personal account has been created for you. The account will allow you to interact with your assigned travel agent, update your profile, review trip details, and upload/download important pre-departure information. The email will also tell you the name of the Travel Assistant that has been assigned to you. The second email will confirm your payment once it has been processed.

Option B - Personalize my Trip: If you need to adapt the itinerary to your specific needs (e.g. make changes to the itinerary and/or the pre-departure dates), you will fill out Questions 1-4 in “Your Trip Cost” section and press the PERSONALIZE MY TRIP button. Next, you will proceed to fill out some basic information needed to process your request. Once you submit this information, you will receive an email letting you know that your enquiry has been sent to the Department of Sales & Reservations and a Travel Assistant will contact you shortly.
